The majorly talented Nottingham lad Liam Bailey has publicly announced that his debut album is taking a back seat as he’s only 50% happy with the content so far. He updated his Facebook status on Wednesday telling everybody that he is having ‘creative differences with me, myself & I’ which is very honest and noble. Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd and One Direction are just some of the names you’ll be seeing appear in the UK Charts and hearing on loop over the airwaves in coming weeks. Since the X Factor started seven years ago both the industry and public opinion has been divided and the concept heavily debated. Some praising the show for uncovering hidden talent whilst others think it’s the easy path to stardom. Love it or hate each year the charts are crammed with the winners and even losers singles.
Yes she is as exotic and elaborate as her name suggests, but not one inch of Brigitte Aphrodite is fake. I came across Brigitte fresh back from the stages of Bestival, performing in her parent’s restaurant in the heart of Hastings. Rihanna, it has to be said is the female of 2011. Dominating the charts in the UK & the US. It seems though, she shows no end of making new material as her sixth album (to be released this autumn) is under way. Her first track to be released also features UK dance maestro Calvin Harris, who also has had an exceptional year! The track named ‘We Found Love’ has already had it’s first play on UK radio and is in my opinion set to be number #1.
